What's the difference between Matsu Essentiel and an engagement?
Matsu Essentiel is designed for micro-businesses and small SMEs: everything is done remotely, from your documents, with a fixed deliverable and a fixed price. An engagement takes place on site: a 3-day audit, or an interim manager who takes on a role for several months.
I don't have an expert-comptable (chartered accountant): is this for me?
Yes. Many small businesses have no chartered accountant, or only for the annual accounts: monthly support often costs around €300 a month. They manage on their own, until the day a request comes in that they don't know how to handle: the bank wants a plan, a customer disputes a delivery, cash gets tight. Matsu Essentiel meets this one-off need, at a fixed price and with no subscription. We don't keep your books or prepare your annual accounts, which remain the chartered accountant's job.
Doesn't my chartered accountant already do this?
Not quite, and we don't replace them. Your chartered accountant keeps your books and prepares your financial statements: they mostly look at the past. We bring an executive's perspective to help you decide what comes next: cash flow over the coming weeks, a plan to present to the bank, a dispute to settle, a warehouse to reorganize. The two complement each other.
Who analyzes my file?
An executive from our team of experts, who has held this kind of position. Not software, not an intern. You have the call with them, and they present the report to you.

When do I pay?
Nothing before the call. If you decide to order, we email you a summary of what was agreed and the payment link for the 30% deposit, by bank card or bank transfer. The 70% balance is paid on delivery of the report.
How are my documents protected?
Once your order is placed, we email you a secure upload link specific to your file. No email attachments. Your documents are used solely for your kit, and we never name our clients.
What if I want to go further?
The amounts paid for the kit are deducted if you continue with the 3-day audit or an engagement within 3 months.
