Frequently asked questions

Interim logistics management: your questions.

The questions we are asked most often about logistics and supply chain assignments.

When should you bring in an interim logistics manager?

When a site or supply chain director leaves without a successor, when service levels deteriorate, when a warehouse opens or moves, or when a WMS project goes off track. The manager takes the role, stabilizes operations and prepares what comes next. If the whole company is in difficulty, see our approach to business turnaround.

Can a warehouse be audited remotely?

Largely, yes. Through secure data exchange (WMS or ERP extracts, indicators, layouts), we analyze flows, inventory and productivity remotely, then add an on-site visit if needed.

Can you take over a WMS project in progress?

Yes. We review the scope, the schedule and the gaps with the software vendor and integrator, then we run the project through to go-live, with the operations teams. For custom development, our sister brand Otaké Software takes over.

How much does an interim logistics manager cost?

Usually between €900 and €1,500 excl. VAT per day depending on the role and duration, refined in a quote after a free first conversation.

How long does an assignment last?

From 3 days for an audit with debrief, to 6 months or more for a site or supply chain management role. We can start within 2 weeks.
